I have a cheap (Ģ30) eBay job on mine and it has been flawless. Although I have heard good things about the scorpion trackers. I will be having one fitted in addition to my eBay one at some point as it will be Thatcham approved 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Thanks, A few people on Angry Pumas recommended the scorpion tracker. Never heard of it until mentioned by them.

I saw one demonstrated with the tracker equipped vehicle on a trailer. The tracker was armed then the vehicle towed whilst on the trailer. Scorpion called the designated phone to inform of unauthorised movment before it had been towed 50 meters - very impressive if you ask me 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I've never had to use my skytag in anger (and long may that continue ) a very simple install and set up and I've only ever heard good things about them, read a couple of reports about very quick recovery times Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Its the recovery times that is drawing me to getting one, just don't have much of an idea where in the defender I'd install it.

skytag does seem good value for money however it's not thatcham approved (which I would like to get my insurance cost lower). It also doesn't have as many features as the trackers stated earlier. Also I'm shocking when it comes to installing stuff myself. I wouldn't have a clue how to connect it and where to put it.

Also in vehicle location is important. Most companies put trackers behind the head lining for ease. This is usually the first place thiefs will look as it can be fairly easily be ripped down. Which ever tracker you decide to have make sure it is installed in an unusual place or somewhere that requires tools to access 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
