110xs sw add 2nd row interior light
I am trying to add a light to the second row. There is cabin light in the first row and 3rd row but strangely not the 2nd row. What is theasiest way to do this? Can I just tap the cable from the 3rd row light? Is the current sufficient to run 2 lights?

Yes you can Smile
Additionallly you could change the bulb for LED bulbs, I sourced them on Ebay...

If you use LED lighting then you can tap in to the original as the power consumption is MUCH lower. Using incandescent bulbs though is a no go.
Look in my gallery under interior lighting and you will see some ideas there. Thumbs Up

I bought the lamp housing/ switch. Its a on off and door mode. So I can just connect parallel by pulling 3 cables from the 3rd row?

The bulb is another thing, in fact I am happy enough with the original bulb

That's not true, Steve. Whilst LED's are very nice, the standard bulbs are still less than 1 amp each and adding a second is well within the capabilities of the wiring. People were doing this sort of mod long before LED's became common. Darren

I pulled from the front. Just a cable about 1m for each, the 2nd row light does not dim in door mode with the first and 3rd row and also is much dimmer. Maybe it's bad wiring, I will try to do it again.

LRA I didn't know that, if the wiring can take it then all very well. All the same it's not designed to take more.
Or less for that matter but in my case I matched LED consumption pretty closely.
