I've only ever seen them in grey since the 90/110 was introduced in 1983/4. Sorry.

I have though seem people spray interior trim pieces on other cars and get a factory looking finish -- sorry to say though that I don't know what product was used.

Someone has posted up in the last couple of days a pic of one they sprayed black.... I just can't remember who it was

I sprayed my 110 ones with cans of spray paint

I painted my plastic grill with Halfords own "plastic" paint.Looks good and easy enough,bought some pre-paint spray (think it was just panel wipe) before I painted it,seems to be holding up. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Thanks all for the response.
At least it seems to confirm you can't buy them from LR in black, and sounds like a decent diy job can be done with some plasticote-type paint. I'll get the spray booth rigged up! Defender 90 - Tomb Raider LE Discovery 5 HSE - yes, even despite the ugly backend. Range Rover 4.2SC - Gone and still being missed |
