That's terrible! My dog would hate it. And what if you got a rear shunt! It's only plastic - you'd have a dead dog. Awful idea. And you can't open the boot

Have you ever driven a hatchback with the rear tailgate open? All those exhaust fumes, what about our wet weather? We've all seen the backs of our motors and people want to put their best friends in that environment Shocked

I have a box ready for my ex-mother-in-law, as she is under 5' I only needed 2 sheets of ply and had some left over just in case the boys hamster shuffles off this mortal coil.

Only the Spanierds would do this sort of thing, bullfighting springs to mind too.
Absolutely stupid idea they'd even be safer in an enclosed trailer, and that's saying something!
