Mine was .... at 38k. But I do a lot of short trips using lots of gear changes and manoeuvring. Still not good enough though.

The new genuine clutches are updated from what they were.

I was told the current clutch pack is the 5th attempt. Mate just had his done and he swears it is totally transformed the drive. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Do it yerself... Save a shedload over a stealer, even if you have to buy the tools..
The only awkward bit is finding the three bolts on top of the bellhousing.. Long extension bar, transfer box off, drop the MT82 down, and you'll see them..

Even buying a transmission jack and various tools, fluids and bits, mine cost about £400..

EDIT to say, while you are at it, check the gearbox extension shaft to transfer box splines.... ... ,-------,

I don't mind admitting I didn't feel capable of doing mine myself, but if you are by all means.
I can confirm my clutch has never been better with the new one, lighter and smoother.
It's also got more slip if you needed it and a smoother engage and disengage which is good for the whole drivetrain.
