Don't worry too much, mine's the same. It might be Land Rovers way of shedding the oil that travels down from the injector harness. It goes into shrouded insulation as it goes into the loom. One of LR's little mysteries.

Looks like the termination of a sheilded cable (probably cam or crank sensor wires) I wouldnt worry about it.

Mines the same,assumed its an early warning feature for oil in loom . Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
