A steering wheel can be cut by a battery operated grinder in seconds, steering wheels are cheap to replace. Having said that it's a good visual deterent if nothing else. I think Glynns right a tracker seems sensible plus an independant alarm.

Bits stolen in your drive etc .................independant alarm somewhere hard to get at.

Started and driven off.........................Tracker.

Put on a wagon ..................................Tracker.

Or just hire some of these to protect it

Having the hard decision between naked fat ladies and a tracker - have opted for the tracker - just ordered

Good price Tracker Horizon delivery, vat and fitted £230 - then the annual subs on top - but it does give piece of mind Defender 110 Puma Utility XS

That is why I will be doing when I take mine out of secure storage in Sept/Oct time. Have you thought about a trunk(boot) monkey? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCUBxgdKZ_Y

That's a great price - where are you getting that done? One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Glyn - excellent - a boot monkey in town would be very useful!!!

Alan - these people:

So far the service has been excellent - ordered yesterday lunch time - tracker arrived today and being fitted on Tuesday - they seem very efficient

Take care
