Wolf/ hd tube or tubeless Rim and tyre fitment question?
Hi I bought an original take off set off a 2009 130. These are the HD genuine rims on Mitchelin xlc or something tyres?
My question is the tyres (the original one fitment ones) say tubeless but the rims have a little stamp saying tubed on them.
Im going to be fitting 255 85 16 Bf goodridge mud terrains, but before I get the rims sprayed Limestone are they the wrong ones for what i want?
Can you get wolf rims that say tubeless or will I be Ok just fitting them?

Just wanted to check first as if not Im sure i can sell them and get my money back.

Cheers in advance Thumbs Up Defender puma dormobile camper

Wolf rims come in tubed and tubeless varieties.

For your new tyres the ideal solution will be to fit them to a set of tubeless ones. However you could fit them to your tubed type rims with inner tubes in them, but you may find that the tubes wear holes due to the rough inner surface of tubeless tyres. Decent quality tubes will help with this.

You should not really just fit the new tyres to your tubed type rims, they lack the safety bead which tubeless tyres rely on to help stop them coming off on corners Smile
