Tom - have you considered banded rostyles? (A la Twisted Retro?) that would look pretty damn cool! Or banded Wolfs. Although I think your idea of Twisted 18's in limestone would look pretty darn good too! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Cheers guys
Have to say I quite like the little wheels other than handling Stu, Certainly keeps the sides a lot cleaner. If I was fitting steels id go with with wolfs but like green machine says get them banded for wider tyres. Sadly insurance wise for me that's a no go, its bad enough for a 21 year old anyway with the other modifications declared let alone modified wheels! (although it would look the business ) They will look the great fitted Muddybaldboy And Chris its only because you want that twisted set for your trailer, Sacrilege! A better pic to for all you little steel wheel lovers. Click image to enlarge Defender puma dormobile camper Last edited by SailingTom on 7th May 2014 9:45am. Edited 1 time in total |

That's my next dilemma as to the colour ill get the twisted 18's done in at the moment im favoring limestone again. Its between that and keswick really although might be to green, it will cost me the same for any colour and im not fussed about resale as wont be selling them cant stand black so wont be that for sure.
Nice idea Chris but think it would look a bit much, plus not sure how well it would stay as has cleaning products on it Defender puma dormobile camper |

Personally I wouldn't colour code the wheels, theres enough colour with the grill, light surrounds and arches, limestone or standard silver wheels to break it up a bit . Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Went with the limestone. I know they wont be to everyone's taste but im very happy with them (all that matters really ) when the tyres wear out eventually ill go bigger. Heres a nice scenic snap from where I was working today.
