If the Titanic hadn't hit the iceberg and sank , what would it be doing today ?

as much as i love the whole olympic class and wish one survived, i must agree with the above in that it would of been scrapped by now, i know of a fair few 1950's pax ships still in service... i currently work for a cruise company that prides themselves on having brand new innovative ships.. cool but not as majestic

some of the younger members may know of 'the lad bible' it's a bunch of laddish stuff one of the screen shots the other day with the caption 'don't breed' below it read along the lines of
'if the titanic sank how did they get all the footage from the ship' |

I took the kids to the Titanic museum in Southampton a couple of weeks ago and an awful lot of the displays are from other ships with the caption " the Titanic had one like this " .
It is a strange experience and one of unrelenting gloom really , funny how the story has stayed the test of time world wide not just locally. It is a good exhibit though for a few hours on a rainy day and obviously the authentic Titanic short bread in the gift shop is a must |
