Terrafirma Dakar Wheel Feedback Required, pls.
Hi All,

I am back in the game again, the LR game that is. Despite loving my Hilux, I can't lose the love of LR’s and so I have bought myself a toy, a new 110 Hicap but with a tipping body.

It comes with the std steel wheels which I intend to remove and potentially fit Terrafirma Dakar wheels (with 265 BFG MT’s) Does anyone have any negative feedback on these wheels? I need strength as this will be my log mobile and I am going to be overloading it sometimes (on private ground only of course). My second option is Mach 5’s but I think I have read they are no longer being made?

PS - If anyone has any second hand ones going let me know.

Cheers

i didnt like them at first, then it was all i wanted, but now i'm not sure again! lol. i think for strength, and for a work horse tipper i would go for wolf steels!!
in fact im thinking about them for my own, although i prefer the wider stance of a modular steel My 109 thread

If your working I'd put wolf steels on for durability, ding the rim you can bang it straight again, not to mention alloys can look tatty real quick if used a lot off road. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
