make sure its all completely clean, get some alcohol/paint prep wipes on it
get a few coats of decent paint on top (probably won't need primer if its pretty new) let it dry thoroughly and then buy a can of waxoyl or equivalent and get it in every hole and in every section from every angle job done! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

I prefer ACF365 to WD40...ACF doesn't attract dust...

If it's not that bad, which suspect it isn't but looking a bit tatty, then yes, you'll be fine.
