Help with mystery switch
Hi All.
I have a mysterious Blue switch under my dash, below the dials, and I have no idea what it does.

My Defender was originally owned/commissioned by the environment agency, so might have been fitted by them for something.
Ive had a couple of ideas but everything seems to still work, still starts, with the switch in either position. One thought was if it was maybe for a pump to transfer fuel between tanks, however there inst a tank in either of the rear wheel arches, but there is a weird "u" shaped pipe in the rear passenger wheel arch.

There is also what looks like a battery isolator switch connected up in the battery box, sticking through into the passenger foot well, but there was no key for it supplied with the vehicle. The previous owner thought it was where you plugged the winch controller in, so was probably fitted when the defender was owned by the Environment Agency.
The Defender is fitted with a Warn 9.5ti Winch which i haven't managed to get working (But will get proper training on how to use it when it does).

Am planning on getting a replacement key and see what the isolator switch does.

Any ideas what the blue switch could be for.

Any sign of a beacon light having been fitted to the roof. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

There is a flat plate at the front of the roof rack but no other obvious signs.

Fuel tank vent pipe, might be worth considering extending it up into inside of rear of the vehicle.

Isolation switch is probably controlling power to winch.

Blue switch probably controlling a now missing light bar.

Mystery solved. Pulled the switch out and found a white wire and a yellow wire going into it. Managed to traise the white wire, through parts of the engine bay, to the front spots on the A bar. It isolates them from the full beams.
