United Kingdom 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Bonatti Grey
Home Service
Its coming up to 9K but the oil is utterly filthy and in need of a service, im fairly competent tinkering with spanners and screw drivers so going to do the first one DIY.

Oil change & filters look easy enough to do but not sure on the fuel filter is deceiving me (i guess im being a blind fool) i guess a guide if such a item existed would be handy if anyone has one?

Secondly, which oils is recommended?

Thirdly, whats the best place for service kits?

Many Thanks

Miles

There's a small bolt holding the panel over the fuel filter, the filter just unscrews like on the Td5.

The oil filter cover nut is conveniently the same size as a wheel nut so you can guess what's easy to use there.

Don't know what oils you have over there, here I use Castrol Edge 0W-40.

Don't forget to grease the uni-joints. 110 2.4TDCi
