The weather!
What's going on!?!. I've still got Lillies in the front garden that are still green and trying to re-flower. Usually by now the plants have been cut back to the ground and are sitting out winter!
The Hostas on the other hand have been cut back and again sitting out winter!

Does this mean

A, Winter has passed by
or
B, Winter has been delayed and will appear sometime in Jan/Feb or March. Maybe even snow in April? 1999 Defender TD5 110

I wouldn't be surprised if the US snow doesn't land on our shores. No Guts, No Glory.

We are at present getting our share too of this warm wet weather. Raining like hell, and right now already +7°C. Guess you have to go really high up in the mountains to get decent snow and no rain... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

In the Peak District it's been relatively calm over the last few days, in contrast to what I've been watching on the TV. Not cold either...although not seen any daffs ..Wink

Cheers

Its quite scary just how bad some of the major roads are.

Beginning of the week coming down the A2 in a downpour the run off from the slip roads were causing stream like puddles. Watching an arctic dip a tyre in at 50mph and then having to do some swerving to try and keep his rig on the road was terrifying to watch.

Just going into town today had a few very deep puddles and I know I will probably have to ford a few roads this afternoon.

It wouldnt be so bad if the roads were well paved and not hiding massive pot holes which threaten to remove tyers and buckel wheels when disguised by a puddle.

Stay safe peoples!

Ha, my snow cowl on the 110 yet to see a flake!

If the storm hitting the US gets to us without warming up too much, that will be more than a flake. 1951 80" S1 2.0
