I'm a bit late to the.. er.... 'party', but as someone who has spent nigh on £15k restoring a Defender 50th - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic25530.html I wasn't going to let it be ruined by a terrible rust proofing application. I could of chosen several companies for the job, some closer to me geographically, but I went with CSK and had the stage 3 treatment carried out based on a recommendation and after visiting CSK.
The results speak for themselves and I am extremely happy with the job and customer service from Chris. The chassis/out riggers/cross member/axles were completely cleaned and treated before application and now have a good layer of Dinotrol over them. No issues since this was done a couple of months back. Just thought some balance might be in order from someone who has actually had this work carried out by CSK. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again based on my experience. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Happy New Year all. Cheers, Superspoons |

The guy who did mine was let's say a bit anal . I took it to him after he said do not bring it wet and dirty.
Had it 3 days , even though it was 2 weeks old and clean . When I picked it up , it was over the pit so could be inspected . His idea not mine. I suppose its the same for tuners . Everyone can do it and some are cheaper than others. But me i stick to the ones who have the experience even though the cost is a bit more. |

Cakey - I think he was right to do so, you may know it's almost brand new bug as far as he's concerned you could go off trading in it with in the first day or two.
It does also need to be dry so wet weather is out, even if you do dry it externally (which would be a pita) it could still be wet inside. Now you lot, after all this discussion, turn your attention to the following noble thread and help make it happen like I did, (including Chris of CSK that is)... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic22078-60.html You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Killer wake up and smell the coffee, the only person who has jepodised their so called good reputation is YOU! was it not you who did the work. Comments like these make my blood boil it is just a shame a few more OAP's don't drive Defenders, you would surely live up to your name and make an absolute killing charging for work that hasn't been done.
