I added a 50mm piece of wood beneath my standard cubby box....still to low.I'd say it's not a problem, people would have complained by now if it was. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Looks a bit too high imo, I just about get away with catching my arm when changing gear with the standard padded box.

I have one and yes it is quite high but I have not experienced any issues. It is supremely comfortable on long journeys.

I have it. The height is perfect in my opinion. Very comfortable and doesn't impinge gear changes in the slightest.
Of course you can also store LOADS of crap in it |

Thats interesting. I don't actually move my elbow from the box lid when changing gear. I dont think I have long arms? Hang on I know I dont have long arms, my wife always says I have short arms and deep pockets |

I tried one for a while then sent it back - and yes I have very long arms so found it got in the way too much.
I fitted a padded lib to the existing XS cubby box and that is perfect for me, together with a Mudstuff bin on the back. Dave Green Goddess - 1998 Defender 110 300tdi |

I guess it also depends on what seats you have and if you have seat risers fitted.

I have one in combination with their Corbeau seats on raisers. I absolutely love it. I'm a tall chap (1m90) and for me it is a very natural arm rest position, and you get to sit straight with your arm on the cubby and not leaned sideways. Work and padding is very well done to, actually way exceeds all other cubby box brands I have seen so far. I would recommend it!

RRUK.
Get one pal. Best Buy you will make. Perfect height and you hardly move elbow to change gear. Got mine from LRI. Reminds me, need to sell the one I took out only a year old. Lol |
