2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Auto Belize Green

Alternative replacement engine

Can anyone answer these two questions please
1 Its a hypothetical question at the moment. If I need to replace the 2.4 engine in the future is there a normally aspirated engine that will fit. I read in an earlier post a 3.2 transit tdci engine will fit. Could it be fitted without the turbo

2 Can anyone recommend somewhere I can have a stainless steel exhaust fitted garage in the Midlands

Don't think there are many none turbo diesels made these days. I can't think of one. Most turbo engines won't work without their turbo.

Most new engines are getting smaller but with a turbo. What's wrong with a turbo engine??

The electronics on engines now have the turbo in there calibration and would be extremely sluggish with no turbo
