Don't think there are many none turbo diesels made these days. I can't think of one. Most turbo engines won't work without their turbo.
Most new engines are getting smaller but with a turbo. What's wrong with a turbo engine?? |

The electronics on engines now have the turbo in there calibration and would be extremely sluggish with no turbo
