Not totally, I'm afraid that I have leanings towards the original post. My biggest gripe is the use of "text speak", I suppose that I must put it down to my age and education as I often find it difficult to decipher the gist of what the person is trying to say. Generally I just glaze over and switch my attention to something else, if I find something difficult to comprehend I just move on.

'Take the stand' instead of 'enter the witness box' . Oh dear, another strong letter to the Telegraph coming on I fear. One wife - livid

A couple of things I don't like.
mostly young girls talking & saying, we were "like" really upset. (always using the word "like") Also people saying they can get something "for free". Pickles. |

The funniest posts are those that have been typed on an ipad or similar and where the machine is clearly the senior partner in the relationship. Some folks really need to make better use of the preview button Darren

Not so sure about that predictive text translation - looks more like something the cat types.

I learned English quite late (when I have 26 more less). So, maybe you can forgive me if I have grammar/orthography problems. But if you have problems with the Spanish I will not complain Cheers!
