Alpine and Apple pairing issues
Have the standard fit XS Alpine unit. Pairs fine with my iPhone 3GS. Doesn't even see my 4s running IOS7

Any ideas? 1951 80" S1 2.0

If you feel confident doing so it's worth checking and if necessary upgrading the head unit's bluetooth firmware to the latest version;

Update page:
http://www.alpine.co.uk/support/bluetooth-...oup-2.html

Update Guide:

I upgraded my firmware on day 1 - Everything works just fine on my iPhone 5

Shout if you want a hand - I'm in Wycombe so in your general area.

As mentioned probably firmware update needed, just follow on site instructions and you will be fine.

Please be careful everyone... I 'upgraded my unit' and now I have no bluetooth at all.... Everything seemed to be ok but obviously something wasn't quite right... I can now no longer enter any of the bluetooth folders and can no longer get any connectivity...
Does anyone have any contacts in the Stirling area who can help?

Tim It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

Right I took the advice. Rather than firmware update, checked Bluetooth list of devices. It had 4 in it. Not sure if that was full so deleted them all and re searched for my iphone 4. Paired Thumbs Up

Thanks guys 1951 80" S1 2.0
