Last year I bought a defender for myself for Christmas, this year she is being treated to a stainless steel bolt set, courtesy of Brendan, as well as various bits and bobs in preparation for the arctic trip in 2015 with BPman.

No Christmas pressies for mine - I caught it snogging a younger, more shapely model under the mistletoe...

A Union Jack and a Swiss flag emblem, and the 2014 Swiss highway tax sticker, which still a bargain at CHF 40.00 for an entire year
Earlier this afternoon.... Click image to enlarge Later this afternoon ready for 2014... Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw Last edited by ericvv on 22nd Dec 2013 5:46am. Is that the 90 van with no air conditioning Andrew? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender |

Yours certainly looked shiner than mine. I'll be using some of the pics from your gallery when fitting them, had been looking for some ideas of how they fit.
Next job is re tap the threads on the back diff as they are full of crud!!! The front should be easy as it's had one fitted in the passed. The top plate and two bolts are still there. Cheers 2006 Defender Double Cab- Zambezi Silver |
