Mooie Bentley , maar wat was je remap probleem .
Sorry for my dutch, UK friends.
Hoop dat je er weer snel mee mag gaan rijden.
Good tuned 2.2 is very nice to drive , and a must have for every td4.

Remap probleem: bij doortrekken in de versnellingen > 4.000rpm plotseling terugval in vermogen, motor wil niet meer dan 2.000 rpm draaien en motorcontrolelampje gaat aan.
Opgelost door Gary van Alive Tuning. ECU opgestuurd naar de UK. ---------------------

"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

I got a problem after the remap: When i pulled throught the lower gears (up to 4.000 rpm) with full throttle, the engine warning light comes on and I loose power. Engine does not want to rev above 2.000 rpm. Solution is to stop and start again. Full power back on, but engine light stays on until I have stopped and started again 3 times.
Alive Tuning did the remap and Gary knew exctly what went wrong. So i shipped the ECU to Alive Tuning. It is in the post back to NL now. Can't wait to receive the ECU and put it back in the car to see if she goes again.
Remap resulted in approx. 185bhp and 458 nm of torque.
A huge difference on the motorways, she will easily cruise at 140 km/h now.
Great service from Alive Tuning. They also lowered the cars, put a larger intercooler in and 20" wheels with 275/55R20 Copper Zeons. ---------------------

It sounds like a overboost problem, we see this alot with the matzker cars. When your in limburg , your always welcom to show your td4 , we have defenders how drive 200km/h.😉 so for fast defenders we can help you also in mainland europe.

Just back from the Winter Trial 2014 in a Volvo 123GT (1967) in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Put the Volvo in a trailer because of spike tires. The Defender pulled the trailer up and down from Holland to Norway.
65mph on the German Motorways, no problem! ---------------------

One question though, you say it is a 110 SW "commercial", but I do not see the heightened roof which is so common in the Netherlands in order to avoid the ridiculous taxes your government slam on top of normal VAT at purchase, as well as the almost prohibitively high road taxes for new SW versions.

The commercial version is available in 2 versions.
High roof, so you keep all the windows open or low roof which has blank out left side rear windows and roof windows and a division behind the rear doors. In both cases all teh rear seats have to be removed.
In The Netherlands we pay approx 120.000 euro's (incl VAT) for the passenger car with 9 seats.
You take that car, remove the seats, put a division in and remove the windows and all you pay is aprrox. 44.000 euro (ex VAT).
