Tyre wraps? Is this a wind up, or is there actually something to reduce tyre noise available then? Not particualrly bothered by it myself, but certainly intrigued! Mark

They can.

The only problem I had was on the seat box sides - the soundproofing is about 1/4 " thick so it pushes the carpet closer to the door. Add to this the seat belt retaining strips and my drivers door would not close !

I sorted it but cutting a small rectangle out of the soundproof mat behind the strip and this gave me the clearance needed to close the door.

I would suggest trying without this mod first as the passenger side did not have a problem.

I would also get new plastic retaining cups for the carpet studs, half of mine were damaged from new and some of the others got destroyed whan I tried to remove the plastic studs.

Guys where I can find the under bonnet noise killer kit?

For the interior I will use a particular material that we use in our insulation work that have very high sound proof power.
As soon as I will be back home I will install this material and I will make same acoustic test before and after the application!

(driver side)
I use this one for the "internal side" of the bulkhead, gearbox bell, battery box and fuse box (passenger side) floor and door:
Dynamat XTREME

and this one for the "under-bonnet":
Hoodliner

on the floor, above Dynamat XTREME i put this one

the results are "brilliant"!!!! Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
