Pyrenees Weather Feb-March
Good evening folks.

Im considering a last minute trip across the Pyrenees. Atlantic to Med in direction.

It would be end of febuary thru march.

Will it be too cold/wether not great?

My intended route is 90% off-road.

The route I intend to do is the Vibraction RB5.

OK... that looks chilly.

When does it start to warm up? Im wanting to do the RB5 route so I guess a lot of that is unaccessible in snow.

Don't bother, until at least the end of April, begining of May.
The high routes will be un passable, due to snow.
I go regularly,as early as possible in the year,so the trails are more challenging,fallen trees,(take a chainsaw)landslides & washouts.(take a shovel).
If you want some company I'll be going the last week in April.
This was the first week in May last year, the snow was like concrete & impossible to dig.

Thumbs Up

Great info. Thanks. Thumbs Up

Unfortunately I will be away working then so I won't be able to do it. Then we have new baby due July so looks like It will have to wait for next year.
