Thank you. Bow down

I'll just have a search around for a suitable pair of DP switches. The E-Switches that Mudstuff do would be good, but despite having 4 terminals They don't seem to switch two circuits (ie for me a warning light circuit and the switch circuit).

Thank you everyone for your help - I've learnt some really helpful stuff.

Anti-stall works really well on the TD5 but is often switched off by the user covering the clutch pedal in case it starts to stall or they're preparing to change gear. Disabling the switch stops the user accidentally disabling the anti-stall and also allows you to get full power on earlier. It can make "spirited" gear changes a bit more vicious though !

It seems using the clutch or the throttle to come off anti-stall is a point of weakness:

When the anti-stall starts to struggle pushing the clutch to get another gear is cutting the fuelling at the worst time - also though pushing the throttle at that moment to build the revs quicker than the anti-stall can seems to bring what feels like a hole in the fuelling as the throttle control transitions from the ECU to the pedal.

If it will help me with this it would be nice, it is not anti stall as I am on the throttle first.

Between 6:50 and 8:14. Just at the last bit, I go off the throttle and push the clutch and it stalls. My "friends" laugh about that because it happens more often. Roel

The housing for the Hi-lo switch can be ported over from the original Td5 1.4 transfer box to an older 1.2 transfer box. i'm sure it work. I've been there and done it. so it's just some bolts and it's off. then refit the other side and it's done. yea, it's a bit of work, but i had the 1.4 box in pieces when it was done. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.
