TD5 CSW Second Row Seats
Hi all, At the risk of going over old ground (couldn't find what I wanted in the search) can anyone give me some info on replacing the 60/40 2nd row bench seat with 2 individual ones.
I could of course go for Exmoor premium with integral sub frames but am looking for something somewhat cheaper at the moment. I have a bid on ebay at the moment for 2 Exmoor High backs with 3 individual frames and was wondering if anyone has modded this type of arrangement to just fit the 2 outer seats ? and if so can you show me a couple of photos please.

I am aware that there will be some fabrication required which is OK as the Tig welder and drill are warmed up and ready to go !

The centre frame supports the rear corners of the two outers so if you wanted to do away with it, you'd need to fabricate legs for the other two.

It depends what you want in the middle though. It'd be easy to leave the centre seat out and fit a cubby box to the frame, for example. Darren

I want to do the same I also have an internal cage which restricts things aswell.
The below is expensive aswell.

I am leaning to the Exmoor Premium ones x 2, but want to do a trial fit to see if they will suit.

Thanks for the posts, particularly like the WM Parts solution of the sub frame raising the seats higher, thanks Romadog thats given food for thought. When you think about it its easy to do and gives more leg room. Also improves the choice of seats.
Tiem to buy some box section and knock something up !

I have just come in from 3 hours in the garage knocking up a "prototype" and can see you have beaten me to it ! Thanks for the offer I will go down a similar route but only want two seats and as such will give it a miss unless all else fails. The plan I have is to start at the same height as the std 2nd row and build up the base with wood until I get the right balance between leg room and head height.
For me this is the way to go though, and cheers for the help.
