Hi All,
After some advice. I've gone through many many threads on both this forum and others and searched and searched, but the problem here is the fact, they all seem to come to a different answer.
I appreciated this topic comes up a lot to, I have read through most of them!
I've been after updating my suspension for a while now, especially as just putting a steering guard and Sumo Bars up front has made the nose droop a fair bit (it's all pretty tired!).
I asked a question a while ago RE. shock and I think I pretty much decided on Single +2 Koni shocks all around (was considering twin Monroe Adverntures all around as I want new turrets anyway!).
So my next stage is the shocks ... I was almost set on Flat Dog Standard Height HD springs ... But I've just found the Famous Four +1 blue's as well. The Flat Dogs look good to me as they give the lb rate and state they are properly sided to unlike other brand springs ... Does anyone know if the FF +1's are properly sided etc?
I've also been going through Red90's page of springs and I'm also considering putting the progressive springs all around, but up front I'm also going to be fitting a fairly heafty winch bumper, winch, lights etc so they need to pretty sturdy up front!
Just after some advice and any experience on this as I feel I'm going around in circles all the time! Want to get it decided and ordered, even if I dont fit until the new year, at least I cant change my mind if its all sat here!
Kind regards to all!
EDIT: Forgot to add, I had planned to run some of the isolator rings with the FD standard height jobs ... One top and bottom most likely all around!

It's very easy to go round in circles with suspension decisions, it's become somewhat specialized to say the least.
I did the same with my old girl when I got it , winch, winch bumper, lights, roof rack, steering guard etc, and my suspension sagged at the front.
I decided to put a full lift kit on, inc cranked arms, double cardan and wide angle props. It was a huge mistake ( for my needs ). It handled like a pig on roller skates, it ruined the handling totally. So off it all came, and I just put some britpart ( some may scoff) heavy duty standard height springs on , with new puma shocks, and it is spot on. It's good off road, brilliant on road, sits a tad higher than standard height, but most of all it feels safe again.....and it didn't break the bank.
There will be plenty of specialist to advise you on here, but if you don't bite the bullet you will tie yourself in bigger knots. Sounds like you are going down the top quality route, I went budget, but I'm more than happy with the results.
