So, after a seemingly interminable wait today I finally took possession of our new Loire Blue UW. Stopped off at Queensferry to feed the small baby on the way back, seemed churlish not to have a snap on front of the Forth Bridge. Enjoyed the first drive home, looking forward to owning this stunning vehicle for a good few years!

Yep, it's Loire, tried in vain for a classic white roof but to no avail. Must say I was impressed with the colour up close today in the sunshine. Still a bit gutted LR wouldn't do an XS in Keswick green/white roof but happy with big blue'

Yes Bev, was Pentland Cupar formerly Stratstone, the change happened during my wait for this vehicle to arrive. I originally ignored Pentland Edinburgh as they seemingly couldn't be bothered returning any phone calls. Same staff as when it was Stratstone, Pentland Cupar have been great though, very helpful and tolerant of loads of questions I had...

Nice looking machine. I am surprised you had difficulty getting a white roof as usually such things are easy enough to accommodate? That said I don't know if anyone has specifically tried that on an XS. 2011 110 USW

Thanks for the positive comments...Dealer tried but email from LR kiboshed it, in the end I could've had it sprayed or wrapped but just decided to leave for the time being, may change it in the coming months...

Thats very strange - I know a couple of years ago when I got mine, I had the choice of leaving it white or paying something like £175 to have the roof painted to match the body. I would have thought you could do the same?

Other option would be to start with a base model but spec the XS interior and internal add-ons. 2011 110 USW
