Best improvement your get is from the relay/loom upgrade , not really much point spending good money on bulbs to only give them 10-11volts with the standard wiring

I'll second that - just fitted the boomslang kit from Paddocks (was going to build my own but for the price it's hard to beat, even if I did end up modding the power feed to come from a spare fuse in the fusebox rather than the battery) & it's made a huge difference to the standard quadoptics and whatever bulbs Kent constabulary fitted to their Defenders.

Not tried the Nightbreakers - somewhere I have a stash of Osram selective yellows that'll go in once I find them...
