Anyone got a photo of it in front of the dials. I.e. can you still see the top of the speedo etc.
Also anyone know the diameter of the wheel? |

Thanks K9F I found that when I was looking around. Though from the photo it looks like the camera is down low? I'm fairly tall so want to make sure I can still see how fast I'm going.
My head sits by the B pillar (exactly next to it) and eyeline about where the head rest is height wise. |

I'll let you know will probably order one, I'll talk to the UK suppliers and Star Tech and see if I can get some sort of discount sorted out. |

Nice picture that third one you posted, Mal.
Below is another one from a different angle to show how high up the ST wheel comes versus the instrument bloc. I am 1.80m and have no trouble seeing the instruments in their entirety. If you call Startech, ask for Ms. Wiky Petraki, she is the sales manager and speaks perfect English. How do I remember her name so easily? I just was in touch with her this week, and ordered two small Startech additions for my SVX....... Those two combined are going to give a nice very British/Swiss flavor to my truck, very tasteful, no overkill... Will post pictures after receiving them and after installation... In the meantime, here is the wheel from a different angle Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. Will be interesting to see to what extent ST will be accommodating a group buy discount request. I doubt that they will be keen on that, rather expect them to defend their stature as a premium brand supplier at premium prices. You never actually own a Defender. The Startech Wheel can be purchased through us for a reasonable price.
BTW, it is just a modified RAID wheel which we have in a couple of versions in our shop Type SLR in our search engine and you will see them all: http://nakatanenga-tours.de/shop/catalog/search?shop_param= Order can go through overlander4x4 (preferred) or directly. Be aware that there are different spline bosses! We have them both WANTED: SII or SIII in max 1.5k |

If enough people want steering wheels I will have a go at twisting Peter's arm to see if can get some forum discount out of him.
Just remember I will be trying to twist a strong Germanic arm so the more steering wheels that are wanted then the better chance I have of twisting Peter's arm Brendan |
