I have a pair of old ramps that I got from a car parts shop years ago, although hardly ever use them.
For prop greasing I find I can get underneath quite easily (and I'm a good 90kg, so not a lightweight..!). It probably helps that my garage floor is a nice smooth epoxy coated finish that I can slide on. For any other work (like when I Dinitrol'd the underside) I jack it up on 4 axle stands (3T ones). In my dream garage, I'm planning a lift, just not sure on 2 or 4 post.. cheers simon |

There was a set of mega ramps on here for sale a month or 3 back, like they have outside car dealerships with the *special* car is parked up on it. gives you about 3' clearance.
I just use a crappy set of ramps, but fairly HD ones (found them chucked in a layby in Portland some years back) and they were far sturdier than my old halford type ones. As couplands says, for greasing the props I just usually lay underneath, either on an old sheet/blanket/bit of carpet, or use my roller lay on thingy, but as we've got a fairly rough tarmac drive, on a slope, it's a bit of a pain to use that for any length of time. For doing the props, I jack one wheel /just/ off the ground, so i can rotate the prop and get to all 3 nipples |

4x bits of railway sleeper or a kerb stone. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Generic 2 tonne ramps, as others have said you can slide under quite easy to do most jobs without lifting it.

Saw some handy looking ones at the Peterborough show - quite high and heavy duty with a detachable platform on the side that you can stand on as well ... were about £100 from the stand next to Raptor ...

3 per propshaft, 1 on each spider and one on the telescopic slider.
