United Kingdom 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
I know someone who had one Mick - they loved it. You need to set up a power supply with a time switch, or just remember to turn it on before you leave.

Similar to an Eberspacher / Webasto fuel burning heater but clearly not viable if you'll be away from power. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

anyone got one of these http://www.kenlowe.com/pre-heaters/cars/index.html

They were standard fitment on rangerover Tacr2a RRV , they work well , but are generally pretty expensive to buy , as are quite sought after . You also need to be able to plug into mains whre you park by the way !
I have a similar USA sourced item for that reason on my V8 110
