Its now a 70l tank and not 75 . My 06 TD5 was a 75l but 2.2 2012 is 70L .
Im now getting 410 miles per tank of 70L including roofrack and 3tonnes .

Thanks for the explanation Photoguy. I'll have a look in the manual for safety, but it explains a lot already.
I'm used to driving the tank near empty. My theory was to replace the filter every service and keeping the tank as clean as possible.

Id be in seventh heaven if my 2013 did 410miles empty funny thing is mine is 75L in manual and where light comes on 66-67l to refill time after time allowing a bit of use to get to next shell station.

Cannot see it being any different from country to country but I have been wrong many times in the past. Why would they change the tank size though? its a british car all cost have been cut to the bone as is, they wont spend extra on anything, a new die to make a smaller tank with no benefits would be far to the bottom of priorities on mmm how can we cripple the defender to increase sales of the discovery, yes reduce the fuel tank by 5l that will get them to change. Big Cry that is well sorted with the look at the lovely 3l V6 diesel you cannot have in the defender or the punchier 2.2 PSA in the freelander no cant have that either its economical and stronger might break the drivetrain it took years to get the slop this bad.

Suckers, Still love the clunky beast better. Now how to stop people calling it a JEEP Evil or Very Mad 2013 Orkney Grey 110 SE on order should be here on 20/04

I got my 110 SW at the beginning of June and it's just coming up to 11k. On mainly motorway miles I'm now getting a range of around 480 miles - albeit very slow miles! And this is with RAI and Flatdog rack. My Disco 'best bits'
