Ah, ok. In a similar vein then, does it still work if LED sidelights are fitted? Darren

As said, that isn't a 'voltage sensing' function, the sidelight circuit is a 'physical' connection

England 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
I have the Flatdog bumper....through Matt

I extended the positive right through to the positive terminal on the battery.
I connected the earth to the Headlamp earth.

I have left the sidelight connection isolated.

As soon as I turn the ignition the LEDs come on. If I start the engine they stay on.
If i leave ignition on but dont fire up they switch off after a short delay.

When swtiching engine off the LEDs go off after a 5 second delay.

All works fine for me! Thumbs Up

Clemmo

PS there is no legal requirement to switch off or dim DRLs on an aftermarket install..Only OEM.
DRLs should go off when the headlights are switched on.
