fuel filter change
Does anyone know the part number (and where to buy it) for the tool used by LR dealers to re-prime the fuel line after changing the fuel filter on a Defender?
Thanks for your comments! - Mark

If you go to any motor factor shop you should be able to find one made for the Ford coupling.

Draper make one and as far as I remember it is priced at about £10-15 where from an old post I believe the LR item is priced over £100?

If you really can't find anything, the first time I bled mine (before I made an adaptor) I used a piece of pipe the diameter of the plug on the end of the pipe just means it doesn't lock into place- worked a treat.

If it is just for a filter changer there is no need to bleed the system- old one off, new one on and then start and leave to run on tickover for a few mins Thumbs Up
