just wondering........
the removable chassis bit the sits under the gearbox. I presume this should NOT be used as a lifting point when lifting the car? if it was used can anyone suggest / confirm what damage might be caused (if any) ? many thanks. |

I wouldn't recommend it as a suitable place, but apart from denting the cross member, I cannot see it would do any damage.
There must be those on here who do some extreme off roading, who have regularly bellied out on the cross member on rocks or stumps with no consequence. Why the question???? Keith |

mine's bin used for lifting and yes its dented....
which had lead to the paranoid thoughts ie could it be the reason for the tracking be out |

If it was dented so badly as to put the tracking out then the tracking being out would be the least of your problems. Darren
