2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Galway Green

alpine bluetooth

can anybody tell me what the alpine cde178bt fitted to new defenders is like ,does the bluetooth work ok,is external mic needed ,are there alternatives ,many thanks bunnyman

2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

Mine come with a mic mounted just behind the steering wheel in front of the clocks, i had a colour screen parrot handsfree that i was going to fit from my old defender but it works just as well. A little more effort is needed to navigate to phonebook etc but I did not think it was worth fitting another the parrot kit for this. Ive only had one fault which was fixed by re-pairing the phone with the radio.
