I'm afraid I can't help with the door seals, but it's nice to have a wordsmith on the forum! Nice work there! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green |

Have you tried adjusting the striker plates to pull the door in tighter ? 2005 Td5 90 XS

Hi I tried all the various window sealants, stick on type to no effect. Took to local Independant and they bent the top in slightly, not a great description, sounds agricultural but it worked and I can cruise at 80 before wind noise now. Also the doors still close as before.
It's how they adjusted the trim on Spitfire to get them to fly straight and level so can't be a bad thing. _______________________________ Puma Defender 90 |

The striker plate is the bit on the door frame (the one you catch you belt loops on as you get out) that the the door lock latches onto.
if you undo the screws that attatch it you can adjust them in or out thus pulling the door inwards if you have moved the striker inwards. Hope this helps. 2005 Td5 90 XS Steve |
