Is there a great difference between the 1litre cans and the aerosols. I'm weighing up if I can justify a compressor for the garage if there is little difference I wouldn't bother.

Is dinitrol better than waxoyl? And if so what type is best as there appears to be many different types?

Basically.....
Dinitrol ML is a cavity wax. Inside the chassis, doors, bulkhead etc. then the underbody sealer. These are the same just one is black. One is brown. DINITROL 4941 - black, tough, elastic and waxy film DINITROL 4942 - brown, tough, elastic and waxy film |

There is also brown internal wax or clear too. I've gone for brown on that so you can tell it's done plus it won't be seen anyway. The underseal will be black though. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Well I've just bought all what I need. As I'm doing stone chip too I think it's cost around the £140 region. Still if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing properly! I don't relish the idea of scrabbling about under there too often!

I've now got as of today all of this:
Click image to enlarge 8x Stone chip, 8x under body wax and 6x internal wax. Maybe a little too much (perhaps) but if it is won't do no harm with some spare. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Sphere - Yes, but probably only the rear the fronts plastic is no point doing IMO but the rears certainly.
SGH (Simon) - Yep, from Rejel. I got some of the items in separate orders so it isn't a "kit" but more a built up kit. I bought the Autotek stonechip first before I knew Rejel did it and also I've had Autotek acid etch primer before with great results so I thought I'd stick with that. Ultimately it will be covered up anyway. The Dititrol stonechip is also a bit more expensive of which as it'll be waxed over anyway I'm not fussed. All personal choices really. I trust both brand names. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Done the stonechip stage today after masking off. Pity the weather wasn't a bit brighter though. Had to get a work light to see properly.

Looking good steve, I'm currently trying to find paper suits in size chunky in prep for doing mine.
Did you mask off the bolt heads/drain plugs, or don't you think it'll stop you undoing them in the future? |
