You might have a problem with the none return valve at the n/s in front of the bulkhead or a kinked pipe as the standard pump works quite well when everything is set up. Ray

Cheers for that. I'm going to be stripping part of the dash down in a few months for some other jobs, so can have a gander whilst I'm in there, but I think the pump is underpowered anyway.
I might just scour the scrapyard and see what I can come up with (the washer bottle is leaking anyway where one of the pumps clips in, so its got to come out to be addressed anyway) |

Reading Blackwolfs' contributions to the headlight washer thread, I think he's found a way of mounting a bigger pump from a D2 using an adapter made by Optimill. No idea of cost but may be worth a look. Darren

Here you go. On the left a Disco 2 headlight washer pump for the screen washers, on the right a Rover 45 headlight washer pump for the headlamp jets. I haven't fitted it yet so can't tell you how much better it is, but the pumps are much more powerful than the pathetic standard pump. The mounting hardware is from Optimill.
