He could, but someone else may have the info at their fingertips, after all insist that why we have forums? to ask questions? unless its a specific question that was asked before that is, in which case a search may find the answer. Thank you guys
To be fair I did look up the part number but as the picture not difinative, I wanted real world experiance to confirm it before I ordered it, the cost is minimum, its the having time off work to build them and find I had the wrong item or did'nt have the bit which I was trying to avoid Thank you again Regards Les |

YAAAAAAWWWWNNNN!! My response to LB's request was not intended to be flippant. As somebody who is seemingly even newer to the forum than myself, LB may not have been aware that other members had kindly uploaded links to the parts + workshop manuals onto the forum. As I found with my first Series III, there isn't much that can't be worked out with a workshop manual on one knee, and a parts catalogue on the other. In fact, I often found that the exploded parts diagrams were of more assistance than the workshop manual for making sense of things. Obviously, this was back in the day when Land Rover could actually be bothered to print + sell them to their 'valued' customers! So, my response was solely intended to help LB to control his own destiny, and promptly resolve his query, without being held up waiting for a response that might take days to come. I can assure you that I have no desire to join the 'search' Police! '57 Defender 110 XS Station Wagon 2.4tdci |
