Oil Recommend
Is there a recommended top up oil for the TD5, i have no idea whats in the engine currently ;(

Assuming you mean the engine oil,i always put 5w30 fully synthetic in mine i use Quantum oils which is VWs, own brand (castrol in a different container).Never had any problems using this. 2005 Td5 90 XS

10w40 will be fine in our temperate climate.I think this is what the hand book actually recommends. 2005 Td5 90 XS

Both are listed in the handbook

I have just put 10w-40 in mine Thumbs Up but in the past ive used 5w-30 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon

I would use the ford spec one as it is spec'd for current models

you could always check your last invoice for you service to see what oil was used 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon
