Isn't it in one of the handbooks in the blue plastic folder.Which seems silly as I leave mine in the bus

Sounds like the perfect time to buy the 50 quid Halford Alpine with bluetooth.

Had the same thing a few years ago. Dealer provided the code quickly, it was and should be for free! Think I only needed chassis-number. |

+1 As above, they'll just do a couple of security checks to verify such as ID maybe and give you it.

If your dealer hasn't got it on record ( assuming it's the dealer you or the car was originally purchased from ) get them to check the PDI sheet as mine wasn't on their database when I needed it

i got the code for my old TD5 by using the serial number off the back and this site: https://www.radio-code.co.uk/landrover-radio-codes.html
Cost me £4.99 and got the result instantly. |

So of course they have no record of my car having a radio code and wouldn't allow me to remove and get the details so got to wait until the service next week
If that fails then £4.99 from above isn't so bad - thanks |

I bought my Defender new from the dealer in Perth Stratstone the land rover did not have the radio or unlock numbers for doors. The sales guy was good he contacted the factory and emailed me the numbers. There was not a card in the wallet when I bought the wagon.

Finally have my Radio code as as said you get these from any dealers I you don't have it - hand over the serial number and wait or it to come back.
Now my problem is it flashes up 3 code errors and then remains showing 'safe'. I have left the auxiliary power one (turn turn to position 1) with the radio on for 1 hour where it then turned itself off - I expected to be able to enter it now but still just 'safe' shown. Anyone know how I can get to enter in the code? Thanks! |
