Unless you need both rear seats I would take one out and put a 3/4 length storage draw with a k9 or similar dog box on top, that then allows storage one side of the dog.

Bit of a pain but then when not in shooting season remove box & put the seat back in.

Someone makes a storage draw that allows seats to fit the top of the box.

In an ideal world remove both rear seats & put in a full length storage box.

I know you have a gun box, so would mean that guns would go in the new storage box

Alternative is you really need a 110 USW, sadly 90's are quite small with rear seats, that's why I ended up with 90 HT.

ps your 90 does look superb 2020 P300 HSE

110 was a better chice however am short of space on the drive and 110 would not have fit.

its a ftanstic idea to remove one of the seats and go for the k9 as you said it serve the purpose.

unfortunatly cant take all seats out from the back as you always get one of your syndicate with broken car and need a lift Mr. Green

it seems non of you excited about LR SPORTS BOX !

Thanks for the advise and am glad you like my truck thx Thumbs Up 2.2 90 XS

Hi Zahy,

The problem with the 'sports box' is that it's overpriced and really is one of those items where you're paying for the Land Rover name on the packaging. It's not made by Land Rover, of course. Their roof boxes used to be made by Thule, although I'm not sure about the current model. Anyway, you'd be far better buying a known brand and almost certainly pay less money for the privilege.

There are some components where it's worth buying genuine parts but this isn't one of them, I'm afraid. Darren

thanks Darren

am sure it will be over priced but i still have land rover credit which i can only use at my dealership and wanted to know if the sports box is handy in terms of access etc

the drawer matt suggested is too expensive just under £600 and i already have a gun box maybe am better off getting the sports box and staffing all my gear there as they seems all go around the same price o will look at Thule see what they offer

thanks again 2.2 90 XS

Fair enough. If it'd be effectively free or heavily discounted then it'd be as good as any other roof box.

Reaching it may be a challenge, of course. Even with a rear ladder, getting to a roof box that opens from the side won't be easy. You'll also need roof bars to mount it on. Darren
