Morning peeps.
Since I recently discovered the TD5 is not OBDII compliant can anyone explain what language the TD5 ECU software is so I don't get caught out again (after scangauge slip up )
cheers Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty..
Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be!

I'm not sure that it's a 'language' as such. It'll just be Land Rovers (or their ecu sub-contractors) proprietary software.
You'll need something a bit more sophisticated than a standard fault reader to interrogate it, such as a Nanocom.
Meeting the ODBII standard for diagnostics only became a requirement for Land Rover sized vehicles from 2005. Darren
