Wales 2002 Defender 90 Td5 HT Java Black
TD5 ECU logic
Morning peeps.

Since I recently discovered the TD5 is not OBDII compliant can anyone explain what language the TD5 ECU software is so I don't get caught out again (after scangauge slip up Big Cry )

I'm not sure that it's a 'language' as such. It'll just be Land Rovers (or their ecu sub-contractors) proprietary software.

You'll need something a bit more sophisticated than a standard fault reader to interrogate it, such as a Nanocom.

Meeting the ODBII standard for diagnostics only became a requirement for Land Rover sized vehicles from 2005. Darren
