Although the search can help (and I'm sure many people use it and find what they want), I don't see the harm in asking a question. Nobody forces anyone to reply Smile  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

indeed.

JWL - i think one of the reasons for the feedback (in volumes!) is that one of the other landy forums (some of you will know which!) takes a really really hard line on often asked questions and i believe it drives new members away; some of whom (especially given the topic) arent particularly IT savvy and dont inhabit forums on a regular basis like some of us. This place is different and friendlier and its for the better. Nothing wrong with the other forum as the technical advice is really really good, just that "its different". Thumbs Up

anyhow, should i get a 2" lift? Rolling with laughter

Spare a thought for people who will be buying the trouble free Defender replacement when it arrives. Rolling with laughter What will they talk about on their forum? They will have such sad boring lives. Mr. Green

Yes I fully appreciate the friendliness of this forum and the helpfulness, my tin hat is severely dented for mentioning the search button Laughing and hope the banter hasn't prohibited any questions from anyone.

Coopers, not BFGs, maybe Coopers .... Rolling with laughter Cool Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
