I've just recently had to remove the bonnet brace for an intercooler fit. It only had one cable at the business end! Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Bonnet's expected to be open twice as often so you need twice the cables to take the wear? Whistle Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...
XS 110 Utility maybe one day..... (did they fix the quality yet?)

I presume you mean it has 1 cable with a split in the middle - making 2 parts?

Yes one cable split in two ,isn't it easier and cheaper just to have one cable?

Perhaps they came across a stockpile of NOS Marina or Alegro bonnet cables so decided to use them but as they were a bit short had to fit an extension cable Wink Steve.

It's probably to help with some aspect of the build process. Either that or to make it easier to replace a broken end without having to re-thread the entire cable. Darren
