Woke up a hour late for work after forgetting to set the alarm clock forwards!!
The faithful old 110 had a absolute thrashing on the commute to work and the speedo cable broke when I hit 95mph on the private motorway somewhere in the UK. still it sounded great and blew all the cobwebs out for sure! was only 15mins late in the end so not too bad for sleeping in a entire hour, the benefits of my normal commute at 40-50mph! best fit the new cable and heater blower then Had a interesting day at the country park where I work, the usual sunday drivers doddering around taking in the views and holding me up. wearing thin by the end of the day! I finished work and was leaving the locked park on the access road to the main road, there was a large group of foreginers who had spent all day up the park having a BBQ and left as the gates were locked at 5pm, they were all parked in the middle of the access road at jaunty angles everywhere and milling about taking pics of themselves and having another party!!! blocking my way out and holding up traffic in both directions ! Now I could have turned around and went through the village on a minor side road around this bit But I thought Ive got a landy and theres the ditch. So i asked the car in front to move out of the way and i drove into the ditch and carried on driving past 16 cars splashing stinky black mud onto my 110, they all turned their cameras on me as i amble past in the ditch and powerslided back onto the road to their amazement and surprised myself i actually made it through as I had an idea how deep it was but it looked OOZY but I guess the cold weather had frozen most of it 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

Put some mud on the landy this weekend while in the Tankwa Karoo national park. It must have rained their entire year's average while we were there

Changed the black alloy blocks on the outside of the rear sliding windows, which the catch mechanism screws into through the glass. The paint was lifting off badly on both. Worked out much cheaper to just buy some rather than trawl over to the dealership for a warranty claim, and then go back again when they'd got them in.
There are a few different ones depending upon age and model, but a pair of MUC1704 is what you need for a Puma 90, if anyone is interested. Pete |

Took advantage of the extra daylight to put a badge bar and some badges on the 110, I did have them to put on a 300TDI 90 but it lost the battle in an accident.
