Well I connected the Amp and fitted the Sub, also fitted the check temp gauge, not finished as I need help connecting into AC. (Separate thread in technical will hopefully show the way?) Check temp works fine other than that. _______________________________

Not today but yesterday... Finally got the drop arm off the steering box... Moral behind the story, always use the right tool, makes it much much easier. Also stripped and rebuilt the ball joint in the arm and also a spare arm as I had it and a spare ball joint lying around. A good day.

Replaced the wiper motor park switch as the wipers would not switch off, wipers parking as they should now.

Bought an addition to my Ctek MSX 5.0 charger recently, a Ctek battery indicator. It flashes green when the battery is healthy & charged, amber if it needs topping up and red if needs charging. The Ctek charger can connect straight into the indicator to save having to remove it from the battery.
http://www.ctek.com/gb/en/accessories/56-836 Although this one is for fitting to my caravan battery when stored in my garage, I thought Id try it on my Defenders battery.. This model croc clips to the battery, but I might buy one with M6/M8 fittings and dash mount display for permenant fitting to the Defender battery. Here it is connected to my caravan battery.. Click image to enlarge Its easy to see at a glance if the battery is oK.. Click image to enlarge In my Defender.. Click image to enlarge and when my Ctek charger is connected straight to it.. Added a rack so hopefully I'll have a bit more room inside when camping & getting long bits back from B&Q
Click image to enlarge Last seen on Higgers 110 so be patient Killer they do turn up for sale on here Click image to enlarge Thanks Bpman how lucky is that, the same colour as the rack Click image to enlarge Not quite 'on' yet as I've got to finish some parts to make it possible to fit without drilling the wing.
